DRIFT NINJA

Drifting is an art . It is in my spirit and my soul .

Here, I would to share with you how my life has been made special by this machine affectionately called
DRIFT NINJA.

Dninja Heng

How did Dninja Heng start drifting?

My influence in drifting came from the guys at Viswork and Kazama (M'sia) . These guys are drift freaks . I didn’t know how exciting it was until Anthony of Viswork took me on a drift ride in his Supra. It was exciting as we drifted near concrete walls. It was scary but after that ride, I decided to get myself a drift car. Without any training and proper guidance, I lost that ride within a month. It was a valuable lesson for me ; we have to go through proper training so we can get that correct experience in drifting.

My love for drifting did not die after the lost of my first drift ride. I went on to get another S15. With this S15, I decided to learn drifting with Viswork and Kazama guys at Gelang Patah in Nov 2007. Dwan and Kelvin gave me pointers and guidance. They are considered my first drift instructors. Ah Fai became my next drift guru. I did my training under him in Pasir Gudang in 2008 .

In 2008 , I was with Viswork and Kazama as a pitcrew for Star Drift and Toyo drift competition. And that was the time that I learnt the most about drifting.

I love drifting because of the feeling of floating about in the car during the drift and the challenge of drifting through a circuit. Gelang Patah track known to many as a deadly track gives me great satisfaction. Completing the whole track feels like heaven.

No one will understand until they have conquered that track.

This is the picture of the track.

My greatest appreciation to Ah Fai, Titan Yap , Ariff Johannis, Jane Cheah, Kelvin Yeo and Dwan. They have become part of my inspiration!

I couldn't drift well without their guidance. Thanks everyone !

Ah Fai

Titan Yap who is still coaching me until today.

And great thanks to The Dream Couple

Ariff Johannis

Jane Cheah (Azrina Jane)

Over the many coffee and dinner sessions, both have given me
great tips on drifting. I am truly grateful for their guidance and
I am honoured to be taught by Formula Drift drifters. Thanks

Collection of Drift Cars

2 real drift cars with the first one already said goodbye to me.

Currently now, is a S15 called Drift Ninja.

2 RC drift cars ; the classic and cute Yokomo edition and a RC car that runs on gas.

Guys, RC cars are great too. I bet most real time drifters do start off with RC cars.
